Portals – Currents Gallery

I was invited to participate in Portals, a juried group exhibition hosted by Currents Gallery in McMinnville, Oregon. The show brings together Oregon-based artists to explore the idea of a “portal” as a threshold, passageway, or opening into the unknown.
My piece offers a symbolic interpretation of portals as crossings between internal and external realms. Using transparent layers, fluid textures, and organic forms, I reflect on the act of stepping through the invisible, welcoming uncertainty, and connecting with emotional and psychic landscapes.

Fui invitada a participar en la exposición colectiva Portals, organizada por Currents Gallery en McMinnville, Oregon. Esta muestra jurada convocó a artistas de todo el estado a explorar el concepto de “portal” como umbral, apertura o transición hacia lo desconocido.
Mi obra propone una lectura simbólica del portal como cruce entre mundos internos y externos. A través de transparencias, texturas fluidas y formas orgánicas, abordo el acto de atravesar lo invisible, abrir espacio a lo incierto y conectar con paisajes emocionales y psíquicos.
