Artist Statement
My work explores the landscapes of the inner world—emotions, femininity, and the subtle journeys that shape who we are. I am drawn to the invisible: feelings, memories, and states of mind that often resist language but can be expressed through color, form, and texture.
I work primarily with alcohol inks on Yupo paper, a fluid medium that allows me to follow intuitive movements and let the pigments reveal what words cannot. I also create digital portraits and illustrations, and I often enjoy blending both traditional and digital techniques to create hybrid pieces that hold layers of meaning.
Each artwork begins with a feeling or a mental state. I translate these inner experiences into colors and forms that reflect the emotional energy behind them. The process is intuitive and figurative, rooted in active imagination rather than formal planning.
Through my art, I aim to create spaces for reflection—moments where the viewer might glimpse something of themselves. I believe in the quiet power of introspection, and I see each piece as an invitation to reconnect with the self.
Declaración de Artista
Mi obra explora los paisajes del mundo interior: emociones, feminidad y los sutiles viajes internos que nos transforman. Me interesa lo invisible: los sentimientos, recuerdos y estados mentales que muchas veces escapan al lenguaje, pero que pueden manifestarse a través del color, la forma y la textura.
Trabajo principalmente con tintas al alcohol sobre papel Yupo, un medio fluido que me permite seguir el movimiento intuitivo y dejar que los pigmentos revelen aquello que las palabras no alcanzan. También realizo retratos digitales e ilustraciones, y disfruto combinando técnicas tradicionales y digitales para crear piezas híbridas que contienen múltiples capas de significado.
Cada obra nace de una emoción o un estado mental. Traduzco esas experiencias internas en colores y formas que reflejan la energía emocional que las originó. El proceso es figurativo e intuitivo, más cercano a la imaginación activa que a la planificación formal.
A través de mi arte, busco crear espacios de introspección, momentos en los que el espectador pueda ver algo de sí mismo. Creo en la fuerza silenciosa de la reflexión personal, y cada pieza es una invitación a reconectar con uno mismo.
